James L. and Josephine Hitt Scholarship
This scholarship was established by James K. Patterson in honor of his grandparents, James L. and Josephine Hitt for the purpose of providing scholarships for students in the College of Education that are planning to pursue a career in teaching.
To be considered for the James L. and Josephine Hitt Scholarship, applicants must be pursuing a secondary education minor and be enrolled full-time.
Each scholarship is awarded in an amount up to full tuition for eight semesters, provided the recipient meets the requirements for continuation.
The recipients shall be selected by the College of Education Scholarship Committee.
