Ken Shipp Scholarship
To be considered for the Ken Shipp Scholarship applicants must be an incoming freshman for the upcoming Summer or Fall semester who graduated from a Rutherford County, TN public high school. Preference will be given to students that participated in the Rutherford County Boys and Girls Club. At the point of consideration applicants must also be eligible for need-based Title IV Federal Financial Aid and meet the minimum requirements to be eligible for the Tennessee HOPE Lottery Scholarship (21 ACT composite [1060 SAT] or a 3.00 high school GPA).
The recipients shall be selected by the MTSU Financial Aid & Scholarship Office.
- Up to 15 hours tuition per semester (minus Lottery Scholarships); renewable for 5 years (10 semesters)
