Diversity Teaching Scholarship
To be considered for the Diversity Teaching Scholarship, a student must be a current MTSU student (sophomore, junior, or senior) majoring in a College of Education major. Recipient must have at least a 2.50 cumulative MTSU GPA, and meet the University’s definition of diversity. Diversity may include, but is not limited to, the following: disability status, first-generation college students, gender identity/expression, non-traditional students, personal hardships, race or ethnicity, sexual orientation, special gifts or talents, and veteran status.
Applicants must also demonstrate financial need, must be in good standing for the purpose of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), and must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
The recipients shall be selected by the MTSU College of Education Scholarship Committee.
